AI Transformation & Strategy for Africa’s Businesses

Day 1 sets the tone for the summit by diving into the high-level vision for AI adoption across Africa. It begins with an official welcome ceremony and a Ministerial Address highlighting South Africa’s commitment to a national AI strategy, inclusive innovation, and digital transformation. The energy then builds with two inspiring plenary keynotes delivered by global thought leaders who will share how AI is already reshaping businesses worldwide—and how African enterprises can lead the charge in their own industries.

The day moves into deeper strategic conversations with a powerhouse panel of executives sharing real-world insights on how they’re embedding AI into corporate strategies. Attendees will explore both the opportunities and practical challenges of transformation, from talent development to measuring ROI. The afternoon shifts to focused learning, beginning with a technical keynote on AI infrastructure, followed by three parallel breakout tracks: one spotlighting enterprise AI case studies, another digging into technical architecture, and a third exploring AI for public good and government strategy.

The agenda closes with a thought-provoking panel on responsible AI and the future of work, exploring how automation will reshape roles, and how ethics and equity must guide innovation. A lively networking reception rounds out the day—giving participants their first major chance to connect with fellow attendees, speakers, and exhibitors in a relaxed setting.
